I am so excited that you are in my class this year. Education: I attended Baylor University for two years and then transferred back to my hometown and attended The University of Memphis.  I graduated with a degree in Human Resources Management.  I later attended Belhaven University and took the alternate route to receive my teaching license in Elementary Education. 

Experience: I began my teaching career as an assistant in 2nd grade at Lewisburg Elementary.  I loved being an assistant but after three years in that position, I decided to further my education in order to have my own classroom.  I took a position in the office while I worked on my education.  Thankfully, the following year (2011), a teaching position became available in 4th grade at Lewisburg.  I absolutely love it!

Bio: I grew up in Memphis and moved to Olive Branch after I married my husband, Brad.  Brad and I have been married since 1997 and have three wonderful children, an amazing daughter-in-law, and one absolutely perfect grandson.  I enjoy spending time with my family, relaxing with a good book, laughing with my friends, and teaching Language Arts.  I am very blessed.
