Classroom Information

I am delighted to have the opportunity to teach your child reading this year.  Your child will work diligently to become a better reader.  During our reading class, we hold focused reading lessons, read independently, listen and read along with books on CD, write purposefully, and develop a community of readers and writers.

Students should read for 15 minutes every night.  Please check your child's agenda for additional assignments and tests.

Your child should come to class prepared to learn everyday.

It is important for your child to follow our classroom rules.  They are as follows:

Be kind to everyone.

Always do your best.

Respect yourself, property, and others.

Be honest and responsible.

Listen and follow directions.

Be ready to learn.
