About the Teacher
After attending Northwest Mississippi Community College and The University of Mississippi, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education. I also have supplemental endorsements in English for seventh through twelfth grades, Mild and Moderate Disabilities for kindergarten through twelfth grades, and Media Librarian. I currently attend Mississippi College and am working on a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction.
I taught fourth grade at Oxford University School and fifth and sixth grades in Starkville, Mississippi. I have had the opportunity to teach fourth grade, fifth grade, sixth grade, and Special Education classes in Desoto County Schools. I also served as the Director of Children's Ministries at Maples Memorial United Methodist Church for several years.
My husband and I live in Olive Branch with our three children. Max is a senior at Mississippi State University, Kristen is a sophomore at Mississippi State University, and Lauren is in tenth grade. I am overjoyed to be at Lewisburg Intermediate School, and I am looking forward to a wonderful year teaching your child.
