Education

I graduated from The University of Mississippi in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach grades K-6 all subjects,  K-12 English and Special Education.

Bio

My name is Brenda Casey, and I am super excited to be your child's 5th grade Language Arts teacher! I have always loved working with children and I knew teaching was my passion from a very young age. This is my 16th year teaching. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades all in Desoto County schools.

 I have lived in Desoto County my whole life. My husband's name is Stephen and we have 3 daughters, Kayla, Krissy, and Kennedy. 

We will have a great time this year, and together we will make learning fun!

If you have any questions or concerns, I am available 7:00am-3:30 pm. Please feel free to send me a message through Remind or through email.

Please have your child read for at least 30 minutes each night. It can be anything that interests them! (magazines, newspapers, chapter books, etc.) It is very important that they maintain their reading stamina.
