Experience: This is my 17th year to teach in DeSoto County. I am so excited about the 2021-2022 school year! WE are going to have a fabulous year together :)

Bio: I live in Hernando with my husband and our 3 precious children. My sons both attend Lewisburg schools and my daughter will be turning 2 in September. I also have a Border Collie mix named Baxter. My favorite color is purple and I love to read in my spare time.

Our math book is online now!! Follow the steps to login

Click log in as a student

Search for your school

User name: Student MSIS number/Password: MSIS number

Click K-5 Pearson Textbook 

They will enter their username (MSIS number) and password (MSIS number) again

Your Child's MSIS number is the number they use in the library to check out books. They should know this number.


There is an app (free) called Bounce pages you can also download that will scan the homework from our book (it will say Pearson at the bottom is the worksheet is from our book) and it will bring up a tutorial to help your child complete the page. 


***Helpful info is listed below along with songs/chants we will be learning in class this year. Your child will always have a paper copy of this info as well in their math folders on the "keep" side in a sheet protector. There is also a homework helper page that has been stapled into your child's homework folder (yellow folder) that has material that they can reference at any time.


**Please remember to review your child's homework each night to ensure his/her understanding of concepts taught in class.

* Please review each and every night to ensure that your child is well prepared for tests. Waiting until one or two nights before the test will be detrimental to your child's grades.

*Graded papers will be sent home every Monday. Review the papers with your child, sign the included record of grades, and return the folder on TUESDAY. PLEASE RETURN ALL PAPERS MARKED "SIGN AND RETURN" You may keep all other papers at home.

*Remind your child to wear tennis shoes on PE days.

*I encourage you to pay for your child's lunches/breakfast monthly or at least weekly. You may do so by sending a check (with phone number) to school or online through mealpay. (
