My name is Katie Sharp and this will be my seventh year teaching for DeSoto County Schools. I have taught both fourth and fifth grade math and science. I am married with two children, Keaton (4) and Emma Kate (5 months). We are residents of Hernando and I look forward to getting to know your child and watching them grow!

Education:

I am a product of DeSoto County Schools, so I am grateful to have the opportunity to teach here. I graduated from the University of Mississippi (2015) with my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I have endorsements in special education K-12, ELA 7-12th grade, and Math 7-8th grade. I also attended Arkansas State University (2020) to complete my masters degree in Educational Leadership.
