I am so excited that you are in my class this year. BS in Elementary Education from Arkansas State University

Experience

I have been teaching for 24 years, 1 year in Texas and 23 years in Desoto County. This is my 19th year at Lewisburg...so you know I'M PROUD TO BE A PATRIOT!!!

Bio

My name is Monica Wood.  I am originally from Mountain View, Arkansas. My husband,  Chad, and I have two wonderful children, Grant and Anna Katherine.  Grant is a civil engineer at Waggoner Engineering in Hernando and Anna Katherine is a sophomore at Mississippi State University majoring in Biomedical Engineering. We also have one fur baby, Sadie.

Class Information

Rules

  1. Follow directions the first time given.
  2. Raise your hand before speaking or leaving your seat.
  3. Respect your teacher and others.
  4. Be prepared with needed supplies.
  5. Keep your hands, feet, and all objects to yourself.

Consequences

  • 1 check       warning
  • 2 checks      silent lunch
  • 3 checks      walking detention/loss of recess
  • 4 checks      parent notice
  • 5 checks      visit to office

Other Class Information
 

*Graded papers will be sent home every other week. Please review the papers with your child, sign the included record of grades, and return the folder the following day. You may keep the papers at home.

*Remind your child to wear tennis shoes on Tuesday, our PE day!
