Good luck to the HHS Tiger Softball team. They will be headed out on Tuesday for the MHSSAA 7A Softball State Championship. HHS vs Northwest Rankin in Hattiesburg (University of Southern Miss Softball Complex). Game 1: Wednesday (5/14) - 5:45pm. Game 2: Thursday (5/15) - 5:45pm. *Game 3 (TBD): Friday (5/16) – 5:45pm)…On the road to GOLD!

State (make-up) and AP testing today. Bells will be off until testing is finished.

9th-11th Awards Day this morning at 9:00 in the HPAC.

Honor Society clubs & Service Hours: Next week on Tuesday, HHS will begin our move to the new high school. We will need help! Service hours will be available to count for next year. See your teachers and/or your sponsors.

Exam Schedule: Friday, May 16th = during 2nd and 4th blocks. Monday, May 19th = during 1st and 3rd blocks.

Junior Auxiliary’s Crown Club is taking applications for the upcoming year. The application and information will be posted on the Band Apps. The counselors will send JA your GPA. You do not have to complete that portion. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Sarah Austin in room 202.

Any student interested in the Nursing or Medical Field, the application for the Baptist Crash Course is still open. It is a one-week camp at Baptist Hospital for high school students. Please pick up an application on the Counselors’ Corner. The deadline is this Friday, May 16th.

2025-2026 Device/Laptop rental fees: Cost = $25. Cash and checks (payable to Hernando High School) will be accepted – see Mr. Stiles.  Students may pay for their school laptop rental fees online at: https://osp.osmsinc.com/DeSotoMS/BVModules/CategoryTemplates/Detailed%20List%20with%20Properties/Category.aspx?categoryid=IF014 or go to the school’s website and click on the “OSP – Online School Payment” tab.

Laptop Returns: Underclassmen - If you choose not to pay early fees, the laptop returns will begin May 20th. Note: Students are not likely to get the same laptop back next year. Make sure you save all necessary documents on OneDrive. Remove all markings and stickers. The following is a list of “lost or damaged” fees:

Damaged laptop fee is $50.

Lost charger fee is $50.

Lost computer fee is $435.

*Remember: Device fee for 25-26 school year is only $25 and students can keep their device over the summer.
